Pukekohe Birthing Unit Renovation Project
A place that’s part of our community’s story
For more than 70 years, Pukekohe Maternity Hospital has quietly played a role in the lives of families across Franklin.
It’s where generations have welcomed their children into the world — supported by dedicated midwives and healthcare staff.
For many in our community, it’s more than a hospital.
It’s part of their story.
Why this matters now
Today, the hospital’s birthing units are showing their age.
The facilities are tired, outdated, and in need of renovation.
While the care remains exceptional, the environment no longer reflects the importance of the experience for mothers, babies, and the staff who support them.
Our Goal
These improvements will help create a space that is safe, comfortable and fit for the next generation of families.
But truthfully? That’s just the starting point. The entire maternity hospital could use some love - and the more we raise, the more we’ll be able to do.Let’s aim high - because the place and the people it serves deserve nothing less.
